Introduction to Entrust

Entrust is an independent trust company based in Jersey, established by finance industry experts with a mission to place its clients at the centre of everything it does. In the short time since its inception in 2020, Entrust has seen significant growth and innovation. As a forward-thinking organisation that takes the protection of client data incredibly seriously, a strong and secure technology infrastructure, with innovative digital solutions, is essential.

Entrust and Resolution IT

Resolution IT partnered with Entrust in 2023 and since then we have supported Entrust with an office move, the installation of a new network, the implementation of enhanced security measures, certification to Cyber Essentials, and migrating to a modern desktop setup with PlainSail.

Office Move

Early in our partnership, Entrust moved offices to a dedicated space that was more suited to our growing organisation. Resolution IT oversaw this office move brilliantly and were particularly helpful and on the ball with a great plan in place that they followed to the letter.

We had several members of the team onsite and available to support us. This was a huge help during a transitional period for the business. The team even came to our first team meeting in the new office, so that collectively we had the opportunity to discuss the office move project and explain how Resolution IT were able to support us. It was a productive, open floor discussion and an excellent way to introduce the Resolution IT team to our stakeholders.

Cyber Essentials

Resolution IT’s Information Security team then helped us with our recertification for Cyber Essentials. As a client-first, data-centric business, Cyber Essentials is incredibly important to us in demonstrating our commitment to data security. The team were very thorough throughout this process and were a huge help to us.

Modern Desktop

A big moment for us was our migration to a modern desktop setup utilising trust and corporate services platform, PlainSail. This migration has propelled us forward in the quality and visibility of our data and significantly improved how we work on day-to-day basis. Resolution IT, along with Warm.je and the PlainSail team, did a wonderful job overseeing this project and ensuring the migration went as smoothly as possible.

Conclusion

We trust the Resolution IT team with their knowledge and understanding of our technology requirements. It is great to have people on the ground who can pop in and support us in person – that makes a big difference.

Culture-wise, Resolution IT is a great fit. Entrust cares about the local community and it’s been lovely to partner with Resolution IT on some community projects this year, including supporting their annual Design Challenge which supports local schools and was hosted in partnership with Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation. We have also donated our unused devices to Headway Jersey to help their administration team.

Overall, working with Resolution IT has been fantastic. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and polite, and the feedback from our users has been really positive. We look forward to continuing our partnership into 2025.
