Resolution IT’s End of Year Charity Donations
Resolution IT Team Raise £5214 for Guernsey Charities
Many of the team members at Resolution IT make a voluntary contribution from their wages to be donated to our chosen charities for that year. These contributions were matched by the company, resulting in a donation of £1200 each for our 2023 charities; The GSPCA, The Clean Earth Trust, Bright Tights, and Guernsey Mind. Bright Tights received an additional sum from a Bright Tights office fundraising day.
A representative from The GSPCA, said:
“Many thanks to all your staff for nominating us to receive this donation – it will be greatly received and go towards the five recently rescued seal pups whose food of fish costs approximately £1,000 every two weeks.”
Emily Gabb from The Clean Earth Trust, said:
“This donation is absolutely wonderful news, our many thanks. Our events are expanding with the introduction of the kids clothing swap and our trusty old van is finally on its very last legs. The money will go towards a new van in order that we can continue to run these events on a regular basis as there is a lot of kit and clothing required. We also use the van for our beach cleans and monthly adult clothes swap.”
Rachel Remfrey from Bright Tights, said:
“Thank you for your donation, on behalf of Bright Tights I would like to thank you and all the members of staff at Resolution IT for your support and donations to the charity, your support is very much appreciated.”
From Guernsey Mind, Chris Chamberlain, said:
“Thank you all at Resolution IT for this donation, you have been great supporters of Guernsey Mind. I can safely say that we will be putting this towards suicide prevention and supporting people who are bereaved by suicide, which includes bringing over Suicide Bereavement UK to deliver training.”
