Introducing Fater Alboudi, Resolution IT Dubai’s New Technician
Continuing with our ‘Meet the Team’ series, it’s time to get to know Fater, a Technician in our Dubai team.
The Resolution IT Dubai team has welcomed six new recruits to the team so far this year. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be getting to know them better! Last week, we spoke to Kaveen De Silva, another of our Technicians. You can read that here.
This week, it’s time to meet Fater.
Hi Fater, what’s your role at Resolution IT?
I’m an IT Technician, so I’m tasked with providing IT solutions and fixing any of the technical issues faced by our clients.
My role mainly involves checking hardware and software issues and finding the most appropriate and secure way to solve those issues. My main focus is to get as many tickets resolved as quickly and successfully as possible.
What’s your favourite part about working at Resolution IT?
I really enjoy the environment created here by the staff and management team. Being a part of the team is enriching and delightful. Everyone knows what to do and how to do it well. For anything new, or any unusual technical problems, someone will always step up and take the initiative to provide assistance and help others. This spirit is remarkable and makes Resolution IT a great place to work.
What did you do before working here?
I was an IT Technician and System Administrator for over four years in Iraq and Syria. I also studied Communication Engineering and worked as a Helpdesk and Networking Associate for many businesses. I developed skills in regular, virtualised and cloud environments, with the objective of integrity, security and availability.
I am working to gain more experience to continue providing my expertise to complete work in the professional manner that Resolution IT is known for.
Tell us a bit more about yourself!
I have many hobbies and aspects in my life that give me joy and shape my out-of-work life. I watch lots of films and TV series, as well as documentaries and educational videos.
I love sport, long strolls, and also enjoy debates and discussions that develop my critical thinking and help me learn more about other ideologies and cultures.
