Who are you and how long have you been at Resolution IT
Hello, I am Dave and I am Software Development Lead at Resolution IT. I have been at Resolution IT for 5 years.
What does your role consist of?
My role focuses on building solutions for clients. This covers a wide range of things from building simple process automations to full scale custom applications and data analytics solutions.
I work with our clients from start to finish on these projects, starting off with gathering their requirements and working through the options with them. Then I design and architect the solution to meet their requirements utilising the best technology suited to the project. I build the solution and work with the client during the testing phases to ensure everything is meeting their needs. Then once the solution is live I also help provide support for any queries and enhancements.
What’s your favourite part of your job?
I do love writing code but my favourite part of my job is the problem solving as our clients come to us with problems, which are sometimes very complex, and we then find ways technology can be used to ease the pain. It’s really rewarding seeing how the solutions we implement save our clients time and money and how they can transform their businesses.
