Introducing Gilfred Bordallo, a New Technician in Resolution IT’s Dubai Team.
The Resolution IT Dubai team has welcomed six new recruits to the team so far this year. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be getting to know them better! Last week, we spoke to Sara Nasim, our Office Manager. You can read that here.
This week, we’re getting to know Gilfred, a Technician in our Service Delivery team.
Hi Gilfred! Please can you explain your role at Resolution IT Dubai?
I’m a L1 Helpdesk Technician. In this role, no two days are the same due to the different types of requests we receive on a daily basis. My main objective is to be able to resolve most of the issues in one go over the phone, which not only means our clients get to see a swift resolution, but also eases the L2 Technicians’ workloads.
What’s your favourite part of working at Resolution IT?
My favourite part about working for an IT company is being able to provide exceptional customer service to clients. Helping them with their tech problems and educating them to be more tech savvy gives me plenty of job satisfaction.
What did you do before joining Resolution IT?
I’ve worked with a few different companies as a Technical Support Representative, supporting users within the EMEA Region. I’ve also worked as an IT Helpdesk Technician, supporting exam software such as ISACA and PSI web browsers.
Let’s get to know you a bit better!
Outside work, I stream PC battle royale games such as Apex legends, Counterstrike, Warzone etc. I also travel to different countries from time to time to see other people’s culture. I have been to China, Hong Kong, and Thailand.
