Resolution Recap: August
Our August began with our favourite event of the summer, the team and family barbeque.
With delicious food, bouncy castles, games and fun in the pool, this sunny event never disappoints. Thank you to Hotel Jerbourg for hosting us, the team responsible for organising, and everyone that came for being on such great form. It was such a fun day.
Team News
As for team news this month, there’s quite a lot to be happy about.
To start with, Lars De Garis, our Project Coordinator, passed his AZ-900 exam. Well done Lars!
Then we had technicians Jack Migasiuk and Joshua Upson joined the team. A big Resolution IT welcome to them both.
Matt Le Patourel, our Professional Services Director, celebrated an amazing 14 years at Resolution IT.
Our employee of the month for August is Luke Corbin for always being willing to help out the team, rewriting vague procedures to make everyone’s jobs easier and always asking appropriate questions to make sure they are as clear as possible. Well done Luke!

It’s been a busy month for content, with some really useful articles shared by our experts.
Starting with this one by Information Security Director, James Kelsh. James discusses the value in being cyber certified when it comes to cyber insurance, reputation, client trust and financial factors.
We then shared an interesting blog by Shaun Lane, our Head of Business Solutions, which explores two of our favourite Microsoft tools for hybrid working; Teams and OneDrive.
Nick Robilliard, our Information Security Consultant and Cyber Awareness Trainer wrote about the risks of assuming you won’t be a victim of cyber crime. You can read that one here.
Our Head of Cloud Solutions, Ollie Le Prevost, also wrote a useful article about Azure’s new virtual desktop cloud native single sign-on, with a guide on how to use this function.
And last but not least, we shared a case study detailing our partnership with NSM and the work we’ve done to drive their business forward.
