Resolution Recap: May 2022
We hope everyone’s June is off to a flying start. May certainly whizzed by in a flash and those few short weeks were definitely a welcome treat.
Highlights in May included the prize giving ceremony for the Resolution IT Design a Gadget Competition, a ground breaking at Le Bigard, an alternative transport challenge and a brilliant podcast debut from our Information Security Consultant, Nick Robilliard.

Alternative Transport Month
Throughout May, the Resolution IT team took part in an alternative transport challenge. With 13 of us taking to our bikes, catching the bus or walking to work, we were able to clock an impressive 1157 green miles to and from the office!
Shaun Lane took the crown with his amazing 181 miles.
Design a Gadget
We were delighted to award the winners of the Resolution IT Design a Gadget Competition at the end of May. With over 300 amazing entries to choose from, it was definitely difficult to choose the winners! We awarded seven prizes in total, in addition to a £500 donation to Hautes Capelles Primary School for submitting the highest percentage of entries.
A huge thank you to everyone who entered and got involved in this fun competition!

Careers
We attended the Guernsey Institute careers day.
We were delighted to welcome Dan Hunter, Programme Leader for Computing at Guernsey College of Further Education, to our offices this week to learn more about the work that we do at Resolution IT. We have taken on a number of previous students as part of our continued commitment to Guernsey, so this has been a great opportunity for both parties to learn more about the work that each other do.
