We recognise that what makes Resolution IT so impressive is the variety of people and professions that build up our company. We sat down with a few of our people from different areas of the business to see what they get up to day to day.
First up we have Joe Wilkinson, our Client Services Executive. Joe is heavily involved in account management and organising client entertainment, as well as getting involved in exciting company projects and initiatives. His favourite part of his job is getting out and about and building and maintaining relationships with our clients.
Sam Roberts works within Business Support and is a bit of an all rounder! Her part of Business Support is very varied, including facilities work, answering phones, welcoming visitors and organising meetings. Sam is also responsible for the approval of tickets for invoicing, sending out invoices, addressing account queries, internal IT system housekeeping, reporting, arranging travel, and is a very active member of the Social and Environment committee. Sam is often seen zooming around the office getting everyone in order! Sam’s favourite part of her job is the variety of work and being able to help others.
James Ogier is a Senior Information Security Consultant, who’s been with Resolution IT for seven years now. With a keen interest in security, specifically auditing and IT governance, he is well placed to advise clients in best practice along their cyber security journey. James’ favourite part of his job is being able to work closely with clients to fully understand their business and forming security solutions to safeguard their assets.
Chantal Thompson is our Managed Services Coodrinator. Chantal is responsible for assigning tasks and making sure that all our technicians and engineers are working efficiently to the correct schedule. Chantal also works to make sure we are meeting our SLAs and serving our clients as well as we can. For Chantal, the best part of her job is working with a great team and being part of such a good workplace culture.
Nick Girauld is a Senior Technician, responsible for taking calls, investigating and resolving all levels of tickets, being a point of escalation for the technicians, buddying and training new service desk staff and also small amounts of managed print work. Nick’s favourite part of his role is the ability to learn, develop and progress his career.
Tove Barnes is our Marketing Executive. She’s responsible for our social media accounts and communications, as well as getting involved in brand development and visual identity. Tove also plays a part in coming up with projects and initiatives to communicate the Resolution IT mission, vision and values, as well as being a member of the social and community committee. For Tove, the best part of working at Resolution IT is the varied nature of her role and the ability to think up and see through ideas and projects.
Shaun Lane is Head of Business Solutions. His responsibilities include managing the Business Solutions team and delivering high quality digital transformation projects for our clients. Shaun ensures his team have the tools they need to succeed and provides input into the strategy at Resolution IT. Shaun’s favourite part of his work is growing and nurturing relationships with his team and clients.
Aimee Doel is our Continuous Improvement Lead. In essence, her role is to make things better and quicker for our clients. We always have a focus on improving our services, and Aimee plays a key role in developing and investing in solutions to reach this goal. Aimee strategises and creates results to increase efficiency with our services, an example of this is the self-service password reset portal that she developed earlier in the year. Another project she implemented was our customised new user forms which are unique to each business. Her favourite part of her role is the problem solving approach.
This is only a small percentage of the brilliant minds that make up our company, but hopefully it provides a bit of insight into the variety of roles that make up a company like ours!
