Last Friday, a group of 8 Resolution IT staff got some time away from their desks to lend a hand to the GSPCA.
As one of Resolution IT’s chosen charities for 2022, the team felt it was important to show their support through volunteer work, as well as through donations and fundraising activities which will take place throughout the year.
The day consisted of gardening and maintenance work; helping the GSPCA team out with those everyday jobs that they often can’t find time for because of how busy they are working hard to keep all their animals safe and healthy.
It was a great opportunity to learn a little more about how the GSPCA works and what support they need. For example, at any given time, the GSPCA usually houses an average of 100 hedgehogs! There are so many animals there to take care of and their animal ambulance is always out and about rescuing animals that need their help.
Thank you to Tim Pellett, the GSPCA Community and Training Officer, who welcomed us in, showed us the ropes and let us have a little look around the site. We were happy to help!
If you can help GSPCA at all, through volunteering, donations or simply buying an item from their amazon wish-list, we encourage you to do so!
