Resolution Recap: June 2022
Let’s get stuck straight into our June recap.
It was a great month for team news. As well as celebrating 2 years with the company, Brad Staples and Corey De La Rue were also promoted to Senior Technician. Congratulations guys!
David Cusack was also promoted to Senior Technician, in addition to passing his Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification.
Our colleague of the month for June was Brad Staples, who won for going above and beyond to provide excellent service to clients, always being willing to assist when asked and staying late to resolve issues for clients when needed. Brad met our company values of Commitment and Excellence. Well done Brad!
As for company achievements, we were delighted to make the MSP 501 list for the sixth year running! Ranking #21 in EMEA and #294 in the world, we are delighted to have made the tech industry’s most prestigious list of managed service providers worldwide, despite a record number of entries. We hosted a great seminar midway through the month. Nick Robilliard hosted a Cyber Awareness Training taster session which was open to the public and held in the conference room at Resolution IT HQ. This was a brilliant introduction to the importance of being cyber aware in the workplace and beyond. If you missed out this time, don’t worry! On the subject of training, Tonia Meakin’s Microsoft 365 productivity training is now available to book as an individual. With courses spanning a range of tools within the Microsoft suite, including Excel, Teams and SharePoint, these sessions are designed to boost efficiency in the workplace. Book yours here.
An exciting update in our office was the installation of our values as wall art, and they look fantastic! The latest development in our ever-evolving office space, these values serve as a reminder of what makes Resolution IT great. We took a long time working out what values best aligned with both our company as a whole, and the individuals who make up our community. You can learn more about our values journey here.
Community-wise, a group of Resolution IT volunteers spent the day at the GSPCA, lending a hand with gardening and maintenance work. It was great being able to muck in and help out the busy team – there is a never ending list of tasks for them to get through and it’s amazing to see how hard they all work to keep these animals healthy and safe. We also welcomed two work experience students to our office to learn a little more about life in the IT industry. Adam Stanford and Will Dereham joined us for a few days, shadowing the Managed Service and Business Solutions team and gaining some valuable insight about how things work in an office like ours.
